In April 2021, EduCare Foundation partnered with the Vans shoe company to distribute a free Chromebook computer to every student at the Los Angeles School of Global Studies (LASGS), one of EduCare’s ACE Initiative schools. Kicks on Fire profiled EduCare’s distribution event on their website.

EduCare frequently works with community partners to ensure our kids have the supplies they need to succeed in school, and it was an honor to partner with LASGS and Vans on this school-wide event. According to the article, “this distribution marked the first time Vans has ever donated computers, let alone to an entire school.”

“Donations that go directly to the community are so important for our student population. I am thankful that Vans, in collaboration with EduCare, could get technology out to our students so that our school community can access the school curriculum.”
Christian Quintero, Principal of the Los Angeles School of Global Studies

A huge thank you to Vans for supporting our students!
