CalSAC Interview on Heartset® Education Book: Stu Semigran & Zak Parpia

In February 2023, EduCare – along with four EduCare students from Marco Antonio Firebaugh High School (Lynwood Unified School District) – participated in the 19th California Afterschool & Summer Challenge in Sacramento (CalSAC), where they advocated for funding for afterschool programs.

Zak Parpia, Director of Programs for CalSAC, interviewed Stu Semigran, Co-Founder and President of EduCare Foundation, on the subject of Stu’s newest book – Heartset® Education: A Way of Living and Learning. It’s a wide-ranging, thoughtful interview; if you’ve ever wondered how EduCare began, or why it’s so important to engage the heart to educate the mind, or what it means to have a heart-centered approach to life, you’ll find answers here.

Enjoy!
